Outreach Series

I have been trying to learn how to write accessible prose for the general educated public. I am not much good at it. I am a “100 balls in the air” kind of writer, trying to juggle everything, equilibrating a host of relevant factors in constructing plausible interpretations of complex subject matters. By contrast, popular, accessible writing is linear and sequential, like beads on a string: it deals with one theme at a time and shows how each fits the thread of an accumulating argument. Ultimately, I aim to be able to write both ways, and to move freely back and forth between the two approaches as needed.

The books in the Outreach Series that are published or in preparation are below. Note that any published books have their own pages, accessible through the menu system.
